Geography

¡¡¡¡Located near the picturesque West Lake, Yuhang is a business bonanza for tourism investment and developments. The ancient district has been known as a land of fish and rice, a producer of flowers and fruits, a birthplace of silk and a land of culture. Remotely hugging Hangzhou on three sides, the district has a large region under its jurisdiction. It is located between Shanghai and Hangzhou, one of the busiest tourist routes in China. To its south is Ningbo and far out to its east is Shanghai. The Heavenly Eyes Mountains extend in the west and to the south flows the zigzagging Qiantang River. With its long history, hearty economy and a highly developed transport system, Yuhang is not only a land of landscape for tourism but also a bonanza for investment.

The grand opening ceremony of the Spring of West Lake, Hangzhou is to be held in Yuhang on 5th March 2001.
Yuhang will sponsor the National Travel and Tour Journalists Fun Sports Game in June. Visitors are welcome.

Our tenet for incoming investment is that investors should get their return first. Investors both from home provinces and foreign countries are welcome to visit, conduct field studies, and invest in Yuhang.

The stream is uniquely clear. Floating on a raft on the stream, which empties into the Taihu Lake, enables one to see fish swimming in the water in some sections of the stream. The brook has many rapids. Rafting on the stream, one can fall down some falls, the highest of which is 3 meters in height. In big splashes and thundering noise, the raft surges down the stream, bringing adventurous and thrilling moments. The stream is flanked by bamboo groves heavily and thickly. For ten kilometers along the Tiaoxi Stream are bamboo groves. Moving among the fresh greens, one feels as if it were a paradise.
